I worked in preadmission/ admission counseling for an online education program for about 5 years in a leading University. Virtual learning/ E-learning/ Online Learning offer flexibility in schedule as well as time constraints. Many adults are returning to college to complete a bachelors or masters degree (even a EDd or PHd) via online format.
You can schedule your online exams with a bit more convenience that students restricted to a classroom also. Usually web based courses (e-learning, online) are less expensive than campus courses also. Plus you don't have always have the extra campus building/ course fees with online courses.
The draw back to online courses is that sometimes instructors are as prompt to respond to questions as in a classroom setting where you get immediate feedback. I have taken online courses, independent study (written format) courses and web based courses. However I have not participated in the real-time streaming classrooms where you can speak with other students & the instructor.
If you are self motivated and well organized you might do well in any of the above mentioned distance learning formats.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
