So that definitely qualifies as selfish, since you are focused on self. I don't see that as a bad thing. Some people are not meant to be in relationships.

You don't know most men, so there may be some pain there or perhaps bad experiences that you are broadbrushing onto most men. You don't want to "risk" being hurt or disappointed. Well, guess what?

People are GOING to disappoint you because people aren't perfect, just like you are not perfect and have probably disappointed a few people throughout your life. So what is the solution? Separate from everybody so you never get hurt?

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
