I miss all the departed old-timers, I miss being able to use mild profanity, I miss the spirited debates, I miss the time when gold points meant something. I miss the time when you had to hurry to answer before all the slots were filled.To be honest, I even miss the troll wars. 2 I miss caring about answering questions. The other things I'm perfectly content to live without. I do keep hoping that spirited but not malignant debate will return after the election and there's less on the line.

3 Thannisan, I'm with you. I think I've answered 3 questions in the past 3 months. Walking on eggshells, rating appeals, seeing the BQ's pop into the active list at the same time every day.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
