Any difference where to buy cell phones..at carrier store or carrier kiosk at malls or within retail stores Costco etc?

Any difference where to buy cell phones..at carrier store or carrier kiosk at malls or within retail stores Costco etc. Are there any advatages to either buy/activate a cell phone at a Verizon store or at a Verizon stand inside Best Buy, Circuit City, Costco, or kiosks in shopping malls. Advertised special at Verizon store was higher than a special at Best Buy. Are there other fees when doing business at other retail sites.

Turns out yes! I bought my Cingular phone at a strip mall store and there were problems with it. I called Cingular and they said, well that isn't one of our stores so we can't help you.

The store said Cingular, they signed me up for the plan, the name Cingular was all over it, but I guess Cingular licenses out the name for independent stores to sell in their name. But they don't support them. It ended up being a huge pain to get the issues resolved, the plan they signed me up for didn't work with the phone I got.It was a huge headache and I ended up after a few weeks of this (during which the phones didn't work but I was billed!

) having to go to a corporate store (meaning Cingular actually owns it) and getting it all worked out there in person and it cost me an extra $250 at the end to get what I wanted. So beware! Make sure it is a company store, not an independent.

I recommend highly just going through the website. Go to the store to look, then buy directly from your company. Shaelyn's Recommendations The Cell Phone Handbook Amazon List Price: $22.95 Used from: $14.05 Average Customer Rating: 4.5 out of 5 (based on 13 reviews) .

Factor in convenience and price and consider buying online Convenience and price are two important decision factors for you. Buying the phone from a retailer will not prevent you from getting technical help from the Verizon store should you need it in the future. By the way, don’t forget to comparison shop online!

You may find that shopping in any of these stores and buying online might be the most cost efficient. Personally, I have found the Verizon sales/cusomer support folks over the phone to be far more helpful than some of the sales clerks in these retailers.

Doesn't seem to be a difference. Between me and my husband we have done all three, and haven't had any problems. Sometimes I think you can get a better deal through the retail store like Circuit City or Best Buy, and I think they are reps for the wireless company.

I could be wrong though.

1 I say the carrier stores that they are from. They have better deals on phones and there prices are very diff. One carrier store might offer a flip for free with a new contract and they other on in the mall might give some long ugly phone. So it does matter where you go.

But I say go with nextel.com .

2 my husband works for best buy and there arent reps for the wireless companys that work there. They give best buy employees training for 2 days and thats it . I think calling the wireless companys and asking or buying on the phone from them or there store is the better thing to do and when you call them ask them lots of questions that the stores, malls cant anser.

DOES ANY CELL CARRIER ALLOW FOR 6 PHONES ON A FAMILY PLAN.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
