Breath, Eyes, Memory" by Edwidge Danticat is a gorgeous, moving book which revolves around Haitian culture Ignoring the sometimes off-putting fact that it was an Oprah Winfrey Book Club recommendation, "Breath Eyes Memory" by Edwidge Danticat is just an amazingly beautiful book. It doesn't take place entirely in the Caribbean--the story moves from Haiti to the U.S. Fairly early on--but the whole core of the book is steeped in the main character's Haitian roots and cultural background, and gives a real feel for that. I cannot recommend it highly enough!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
