The problem with religion is the "prove me wrong" logic that they all use... Religions provide NO evidence what they CLAIM is TRUE, and demand we non-believers prove them wrong. LOGIC does NOT work that way in MY book. It is incumbent on the one making the claim to show evidence the claim is TRUE, not the responsibility of the rest of us to show the claim is FALSE.
Yet, that is exactly what religion claims. So, what I say is this, show me the smoking gun of god, so to speak, that makes the case for there to BE a god as religion claims. When I see the evidence that makes the case for there to BE a god, THEN I will consider that creation is a possibility equal to the big bang.
Without a god to DO the creating, there is NO creation...
I will address that point; albeit I may not speak for all creationists on that point presently. There is a difference between evolution (what or how; depending on use) versus the THEORY (why) of evolution. Examples; dogs are descended (evolved; how) from wolves; I am taller than my Dad (how).
WHY the existence of wolves? I propose God (designed it) rather than 'an accident' or '1 out of a million' survived with XYZ happening afterwards.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
