Kind of funny the best answer was posted by Gilbert he said "There is no real way to prove or disprove a world view because every world view has presuppositions that are required to be trusted to hold the world view." He got 8 dislikes. I wonder why?
Is it because the evolutionist cannot admit they have presuppositions? He was spot on. Our presuppositions determine which way we lean towards.
We all have the same evidence, the creationist and the evolutionist use the same evidence. Personally the reason why I don't follow evolution is because I am getting sick and tired of being told its a fact and that's all. I am sick and tired of researching the issue and finding hundreds of animated photos.
I am sick and tired of reading up about these idiotic theories that cannot be tested or observed such as the multi verse theory. I will probably get as many dislikes, but personally I believe the only evidence evolution has are variations. Slight changes within a species.
No one argues this happens. I see it as gods way of allowing his creation to adapt. There are limitations though, and science shows us this to be true.
A virus stays a virus and bacteria stays bacteria. If evolution were true there should be more flexibility in the laboratory conditions. What we see on a daily basis is that there are limitations.
I think the only way to prove evolution is to show us a case where there hasn't been any limitations. Until then its guess work at best.
Ummm, well you could start by trying look at how the canonization of the bible; it is nearly chance that the bible that people carry is made of the books it holds. There were literally thousands of different biblical manuscripts for the same books of the New Testament (yes, most were negligible differences, some were not). Many of the biblical texts don't even come from a complete manuscript but from piecing together dozens of different books.
Look into the canonization of the texts, you'd be amazed. There are historical inaccuracies in the bible. The one that I can think of off the top of my head is the differences in genealogies in Matthew and Luke.
ALSO, the birth narratives in Matthew and Luke are TOTALLY different stories. Just read it! Different places they lived, traveled, people that came to them, where they stayed...) Also, the most apparent thing that I can think of is that there is no (not even a little bit!) evidence for a spiritual realm, souls, supernatural intervention in our lives, etc. (There is also no evidence that any miracles in the bible actually happened.
Any evidence there is could very well be circumstantial or wishful thinking.) Just think about it and look around. Good luck, I hope you can eventually start thinking and finding out this type of stuff for yourself. One doesn't need to look far to find the truth behind most religions.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
