Publish some more hubs. Share more of your work and get your name out there. Nobody is going to just give you a magazine article.
You're going to have to work for it. Persistence is the best skill for any writer. There are people out there who will discourage you, but just keep writing!
Just keep being creative and share your ideas with the world. Think about it this way, the more you put out there, the more there is for other people to see, and eventually someone will take notice of your work and that's how you get your magazine article. All im trying to say is, continue to put your feelings to paper and continue to aspire to be published and most importantly, continue staying true to yourself!
Write what you know. It's so simple, yet so obvious, the best writing comes from the emotions and events you've experienced throughout your life. For instance, love poetry!
Everyone has been in love, so that is such a great topic to write about. Everyone has been through those emotions; the unending happiness, the fluttering of butterflies whenever she's near, and eventually the bitter, dull pain that comes when a relationship ends, so a great many people will be able to relate with the genre. Just remember to keep writing how love makes you feel.
You'd be surprised to see how many people can sympathize and relate to your exact feelings. Readers will find solace in this, as nobody wants to feel alone in the world. They will read your hubs and articles because they want to know that they aren't alone.
They want to know everything will be ok, and that people have been there before. That's why it's important for someone like yourself to be able to provide something meaningful and special to the reader. They will translate your poem into their own lives and find a peace knowing someone else is out there that has gone through the same thing.
I mean, isn't that a basic human need? The need to belong? Like I said before, the idea for writing success is simple, you just need to be persistent in providing emotional pieces that many people can relate to.
I hope you can pull some meaning from this. I was just answering your question, you can make of it what you want.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
