Sources: This is some serious crap - I really can not write...LOL... boxing's Recommendations Honey and Junk: Poem Amazon List Price: $23.95 Used from: $4.89 Average Customer Rating: 4.0 out of 5 (based on 3 reviews) Junk: A collection of songs and poems by cadets at the United States Naval Academy .
I write poetry Here are two poems of mine. I used to poke around in the dingy underbelly of the Kansas City poetry scene (weekend slam parties, monthly readings, etc. ) but ultimately found those people way too pretentious. I’m interested in making beautiful language, not smoking pot and pretending Mellisa Etheridge has something profound to convey channeled through a baked-out chick with dreadlocks strumming clumsily at a tuneless acoustic guitar.
*Sigh* Big Sur Fog Break, rocks tumble down to a white froth swirl: we spin and form a haze and hang low, for a moment, and the gold coin drops below that line at the limit of seeing. Freeze, fall down slowly to a wet crowd slide: we cling and join drops of salt secrets, for a moment, and the pale disk peeks at the edge, a smile broken with plunging teeth. I Hate Bugs I kill every bug I see A beetle crawls on the riser of a staircase and I time My footstep so to crush it A paper sign is taped up to the inside of a door’s window And a fly moves underneath it And I punch it, trapping it pressing it between the pages of something that is not a book A million moths swarm around a porch light I take one up in my fist and fastball it to the wall A thud and a drop and a pile forms there on the ground A cricket I behead with the tip of my toe as it sits on the concrete floor of my garage while I smoke A cigarette in my yellow chair A stream of ants minding their own business in the lawn I scuff them with my foot And drown their cave with Ortho Home Defense flood them with poison A spider in my basement Crawling across the coffee table I scoop onto a magazine subscription card And move him to a high wall corner So he can build a web And kill bugs for me conscripted into my army of thugs, destroying six-legged monsters .
YES! :) Well this is a short one, that I am not to fond of! But none the less it is the only one of mine I could locate at the moment.
Struggles in night the subconscious emerge,Fade from my mind thought, sense and forces of wisdom God knows what dreams awkward will turn, pressing the cobwebs slowly through sleep, As wavering duties cacoon gravity's feet.
1 bornagain, regarding your answer "YES! :)": holy macarle! That is really awesome... I really like that!
When did you write that?.... how long does it take you to write your poems? ----- how did that start for you, why? What prompted that poem?
--- with me, itll be one line suddenly just pops into my head... and I hang onto that line untili can finally grab my notebook outta my purse and start writing ... but im a little picky with my atmosphere when I wrtie----- mostly every time I have to be around music, or next to the sun... like next to a window--- well infact, I usually flow with the pen and paper on my lunch break! Isnt that funny? --- how about you, is there anything special you need when writing?
When do you usually write? Like I said, it could be any given time for me.. but its always the first line that just pops in my head that triggers the reast of the poem... I write the first line and I just flow with it from there.... I cant wait to read some more of yours! Very good, that is awesome!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
