Any recommendations for caterers in Indianapolis?

It would help to know the function. There are some terrific caterers of "Hoosier" style foods that are popular during the summer; there are also great caterers that are wonderful with gourmet food, and everything in between. One very popular "Hoosier" style caterer, used every year for many area company picnics, is Jug's.

The menu I've seen from them is usually broasted chicken (that's like fried chicken, only done under pressure so it's more tender); slow-cooked green beans with bacon; corn on the cob; cole slaw; and the hallmark Hoosier item: fried biscuits with baked apple butter. I know they do things other than the chicken; I've also seen fish and baked ham from them. Jug's is the highest-rated caterer for Indy on Yelp.com.

If you want the other end of the formality scale, then Piper's, Sahms', and Rick's Cafe are all good, upscale and semi-gourmet (they tend to stick with tame choices for catering). If you want something particularly ethnic, like Cajun or Italian, most better restaurants in the area offer catering. Papa Roux or Yats are great for Cajun; Da Blue Lagoon is wonderful for Jamaican; Mama Carolla's or Agio's are both good Italian choices.

There is a caterer for just about any ethnic cuisine you can imagine, from Ethiopian to Venezuelan-just ask the restaurant.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
