Any recommendations for making a wheat free lifestyle a happier transition? I smell phantom toast every morning?

Well I'm not sure if you're gluten free of your own choice, because of gluten intolerance, or Celiac, but in any case, it does get easier. The first thing you really need to come to terms with is that you just do not eat bread as frequently on the gluten free diet. Bread is the hardest thing. It takes some practice and sometimes a good bread machine, but you can make some pretty decent wheat free bread.

Pamela's wheat free bread mix is exact for loaves, rolls, etc. You should try out some recipes from Donna Washburn and Heather Butt; these ladies know their wheat free breads. It also depends on where you live. I have a couple really fabulous gluten free bakeries near where I live. Yes they exist; you just need to search for them.

And the cravings for toast in the morning will decrease as time passes and you find a new favorite in the morning. As for replacing bread at other times of the day, use rice wrappers or wheat free tortillas for sandwich wraps. La Tortilla Teff wraps are the best.

Might I also suggest checking out your local celiac support group, as if you're Celiac or not, they will understand and help you through the transition. It's good to have a solid support group. And if you need or want any more help, you're welcome to contact me directly through my blog listed on my mahalo user page; I've been gluten free for 5+ years, and work in the gluten free industry.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
