Do that first and know it cold before you listen to anybody else. Then go to their blog - googlewebmastercentral.blogspot.com/ and read the last yrear or so and all the comments. You'll see other places recommended in the comments and start to get a feel as to which ones are valuable.

Continue your education there.

I learned from Courtney Tuttle. I think he's got a lot of good advice, but he's dead wrong on content not being king. He lost a big following after saying that backlinks were more important than good content.

Looks like Google Panda has proved him to be even more wrong (even though he couldn't have predicted that. ).

Other than that, though, I've found a lot of his advice to be incredibly helpful.

Google has an SEO guide for beginners that is very straight-forward and simple. I suggest you look that up and spend some time reading through it. Good luck.

Just google it. You will come across a lot of tutorials. If you are in any blogging service, give more time to write more content.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
