Anyone drink single-malt Scotch? If so, what are your favorites? I need a new one or two to try?

Definitely single malt, no mix, water back (on the side) - Glenlivet, Glenfiddich.

Isle of Islay, and Glenfiddich, are my favourites.

Ahhh...the sort of question I love! My personal favourites are the Islay single malts and Bowmore Darkest is also my favourite! I have been to Islay many times and first tried Darkest during a tour of the Bowmore distillery.

Bunnahabhain is beautiful also, as is Bruichladdich. I have toured those distilleries also. If you like the peatier single malts, you should try one from the South of the island.

Laphroaig is the best known one and also the best tasting in my opinion. The Isle of Jura neighbours Islay and has only one distillery. It's whisky is beautiful, however, and if you like Bowmore Darkest you should like Isle of Jura.

I really could go on and on and on but I hope I have given you some ideas to be going on with. Slainte mhath!

Then Oban, Langavulin or LaPhroaig are for you. If like me, you like a lighter taste, than the Speyside malts are the ones to to try, The Macallan, Glenfiddich, Glenleviet.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
