Anyone else sick of people who feel they have to tell you "how to live your life"? yet are hypocrites when it comes to others of the same?

My whole family is like that. I love them but we do not see each other very much. I belive in live and let live.

But they feel they must control my life , even after I have been married for 21 years. Yet if I point out flaws in their lives they tell me I don't know what I am talking about. The funny thing is I have seen far more of the real world that they ever want to admit exist.So I let them wear their rose colored glasses and blinders, wile I keep my eyes and mind open.

Yeah I can relate to that because I livewith one... I call her "mommy"... nders me when from pursuing what I want and my dreams before, pushes me to do what she wants yet not help me to go about it even if she knows i'm not inclined to that thing and I have no idea and worse when I fail all I get are bad mouthing, nagging, etc.... She is so tolerant and generous to others but not to her daughter=(...

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
