First, you'll have to find out what kind of battery it is. Most modern batteries require some kind of charging circuit. The type of circuit depends on the type of battery.

The circuit will usually be fairly simple. As for running things via USB directly off the battery, all you have to do is get the voltage correct. That shouldn't be too hard either.

Again, we'll have to know the specifics of the battery (such as output voltage).

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
