The D-Link 655 is a 802.11n wireless router. The IEE still has yet to approve the Draft-N series. 802.11n is expected to be approved by IEEE-SA RevCom in 02.119.
Although many "Draft N" products are already available. If you plan to take advantage of the 600/Mbit speeds of 802.11n. Its best to buy the wifi card made from the same manufacturer D-Link.
Other Draft-N vendors may have a different way of implementing 802.11n and you might encounter problems. D-Link 655 is a draft 2.0 802.11n AP, so to get the best speed, you would need an adapter compatible with that spec. Cheapest PCMCIA Pre-N draft 2.0 adapters start around $30. If you want to spend less, you can get any 802.11g adapter, it will only give you speed up to 54 mbps, but it's plenty for most applications.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
