Anyone use Mane N Tail Shampoo and Conditioner for long hair?

My hair is wavy curly and very fine. I've been growing it for the past 3 years and it's now half way down my back. The problem I'm having is with tangles.

Yes I’ve used it off and on for some years. I wouldn’t describe my hair as thin, but I know of friends with your same hair type that loved it. It will help keep your hair strong, thus healthier.

I would suggest using a clarifying shampoo once a week though, so you don’t create build up. That’s true for most sham/cond. ’s though becuase of the waxes that are used.As for the tangles... I've had long hair all my life.... the only thing that really stops them for me is to keep a comb close by.

I tried this years and years ago... I have waist length hair that is think and tangles easily. I tried this, because I had heard so many good things about it. I didn't like the way it left my hair at all!

I felt like it left a film on my hair, so I had to stop using it. As a matter of a fact, my parents still have a bottle of it in their bathroom from all those years ago. I have trouble with tangles also, and have a neurological disorder that makes it hurt to brush my hair.

I'm VERY tender-headed now, with my neurological issues, so I use Sauve detangling conditioner myself. It has helped me out a lot. Now I can brush my hair without all the tangles, and it leaves my hair with a light grape smell to it.It's worth a try!

Consider a leave-in conditioner after shampooing and conditioning your hair When my daughter’s hair was very very long we used Mane N Tail. It was good but not any better than any other shampoo and conditioner. I found with my daughter it was best to also use some leave-in conditioner; that helped the most.

I don't use mane N Tail... I use Abba Creme Moist shampoo, and Nourishing Conditioner. It used to be a salon-only product, and has since begun retail sales. I used to use a different shampoo, but the Creme Moist smells so good to me, that I switched.

Not really. You need to try a shampoo and conditioner geared to your hair type and texture. I would recommend a line of beauty and hair products called Carol's Daughter.
