Apple Cider Vinegar vs Malt Vinegar?

I presume it is simply to do with what they are made of. Malt vinegar is obviously made using malt, while apple cider vinegar - well, apples. All I know is it is great in home remedies - my grandmother swore by it.

I have used it in the past in home remedies and I have also found it works a treat!

Well apple cider vinegar is made from apple cider and malt vinegar is made from malt. Malt is more sour/stronger taste, where apple cider as a bit of a sweeter taste to it.

Apple cider vinegar, otherwise known as cider vinegar or ACV, is a type of vinegar made from cider or apple must and has a pale to medium amber color. Unpasteurized or organic ACV contains mother of vinegar, which has a cobweb-like appearance and can make the vinegar look slightly congealed. ACV is used in salad dressings, marinades, vinaigrettes, food preservatives, and chutneys, among other things. It is made by crushing apples and squeezing out the liquid.

Bacteria and Yeast are added to the liquid to start the alcoholic fermentation process, and the sugars are turned into alcohol. In a second fermentation process, the alcohol is converted into vinegar by acetic acid-forming bacteria (acetobacter). Acetic acid and malic acid give vinegar its sour taste.1 Contents Malt vinegar is made by malting barley, causing the starch in the grain to turn to maltose.

Then an ale is brewed from the maltose and allowed to turn into vinegar, which is then aged. It is typically light brown in color. There are many more types of vinegar but they are mostly used for cooking purposes but this does not mean that the general acidity of vinegar won't benefit simple things like cleaning and killing bacteria if that’s all you have in the house.

The other types of vinegar are - Wine Vinegar - great with desserts especially fruit desserts - Rice Vinegar - very popular in Japanese cooking and will be found in many recipes - Fruit Vinegar - great addition to fruit salads - Malt Vinegar - very common vinegar found in the home great with your fish and chips - Balsamic Vinegar - Classic salad dressing just mix some balsamic vinegar and olive oil. Or use as a dip for a nice crusty bread (very Italian :) ).

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
