The last thing I want to do is marry someone just like me. Sounds boring. The best part of arguing is the kiss and make up part.
Sometimes I let her win.
My SO is not political. I think she voted Republican before she met me but am not sure and I refuse to violate her peace. We just don't connect in that area but we do in others.
I think it makes it hard if they are opposite political beliefs. Keep in mind that about 2/3 women are Democratic and 2/3 men are Republicans. So this is already the case.
However married women are probably closer to 1/2 or even more Republican unless they have a crappy husband. I think when Liberal women get a decent husband, they have less use for Liberalism. The hardest part is the political party of the in-laws if they are significant.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
