Not only are they safe but they also the UK's largest airline in terms of passengers carried, 54 million in the year ending 30th September, 2011. Another contributor, "potatochip", has offered a couple of good reasons for their competitive fares but then spoilt it by saying that EasyJet use "alternative" airports. This is not the case, although this can be directed at their main European competitor, Ryanair, who do use secondary airports in many cases.
EasyJet use many main airports in cities throughout Europe, including Amsterdam, Paris, Madrid, Copenhagen, Berlin, Rome, Barcelona, Bucharest, Budapest, Tallin, Prague & Stockholm. This does not go unnoticed by the business passengers who are using the airline in increasing numbers for price, choice & availability. Another big plus point is their website and the easy to understand booking process I use EasyJet fairly regularly for flights within Europe and, when possible, book when they release their flight schedules.
This is when flights tend to be the cheapest. They then sell their seats in batches, which increase in price until those booking near to the departure date pay a high price, thus helping balance the books.
Yes the airline is safe. The fares are cheaper because they operate only 1 type of aircraft so training and maintenance costs are lower. Also the aircraft are newer so they don't have to undergo the really expensive maintenance checks the older aircraft have to.
They also operate out of alternative airports and try to avoid the really congested ones. That would help save the airline on rent and landing fees.
In the front of the airplane are pilots... In case of a crash, they would be the first to die - Do you think they want to commit suicide...? I was a pilot - not the kind of "hero" and "careful for the passengers" - Just wanted to get back home safely in one piece - If I was safe... so were the passengers, sometimes 500 of them - And not make my wife a merry widow with the big life insurance settlement - If the plane was not as it should be - I said - "fix-it, I am not going" - .
Yes, easyJet is safe and reliable. They maintain a modern Airbus fleet and never had fatal accident. They are cheap because they are a low fare carrier like Ryanair.
Not much service (online check-in, no free catering aboard, extra charges for luggage and so on).
They are safe, budget airlines have cut costs by so much because of online booking and advanced booking. This saves on marketing costs. However many budget airlines will care for extras such as baggage, seats etc.
Yes, perfectly safe, I use them regularly. They are a budget airline so you shouldnt expect the comfort of an airline such as emirates.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
