Are muslims too easily offended?

Those who have strong beliefs don't rile easily in my experience. Call a confident preacher an idiot and he will mildly smile and go on. An insecure one hits the roof.

I know that for fact, been there, done that. Confident people are calm people. These raving people give away their insecurity in the rant.

We have great examples of that right here on this board.

The muslim religion itself is weak, but they have their own rules they must live by. I feel sorry for them more than anything, especially when groups like isis exist. The problem is they have to modernise, and they are struggling, to understand we don't live by there rules, so I can draw muhammed or make fun of allah all I like because to me they are imaginary characters.

I also understand that offends them, which is my freedom. So in essence my freedom offends them and they act upon that. They actually don't have that right, they just need to carry on doing whatever it is they do, and leave the rest of us to question everything, and comedy is how most things are questioned.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
