Are pit bulls really dangerous?

I would not worry, unless the dogs prove themselves vicious. Pit bulls were originally bred to be working dogs that were trained to literally bait bulls. They were also used in times of war in other countries.

Contrary to popular believe, pit bulls in general are not mean dogs. Pit bulls are energetic canines that require plenty of exercise and attention, and provide an undying loyalty to those humans that they consider theirs. Yes, there are vicious pit bulls, but there are also vicious Chihuahuas.

A dog's temperament is caused by the treatment it receives from his or her owner. Some states have laws regarding ownership of pit bulls and other allegedly dangerous breeds, which require owners to follow strict guidelines and maintain expensive insurance.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
