Raised garden beds are not a fad at all. They are ideal for people who want to garden and don't have sufficient space in which to put a traditional garden. They are also ideal for people who want to garden, but whose soil quality is so poor that it would take an enormous effort, amount of time and money to amend the soil to the point where it would be good enough to grow anything in.
Another advantage to raised beds is that because you are continually adding new soil and compost, the rate of soil erosion and degradation is a fraction of what it would ordinarily be. Raised beds, depending on what you add to the soil, can be a great way to keep the soil most for longer, and that will mean that you save a considerable amount of money by not having to water as often. Also, because the soil is essentially virgin soil, there is no need to use artificial or chemical fertilizers or weed killers.
Raised beds are also a good way to keep weed growth under control.
Absolutely here to stay! 1) You don't need to bend down as far. 2) You don't need to dig the ground below the bed.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
