Are the capillaries the smallest artery?

Capillaries actually aren't arteries. Arteries, veins, and capillaries are the major blood transport networks. Arteries take blood away from the heart, veins take it back, and capillaries go between the two.

Capillaries are the smallest of these networks tho.
