Are the majority of the British electorate fundamentally cowards?

Working class people should support each other when we fight for better conditions and pay! What's the alternative...all power to the capitalists? I think we've tried that and look at the state of the world now!

They should and they will get it. Reason why? For me it is the fact that when I see the politicians and the fat cats in the banks and oil companies, etc taking a cut in pensions and even paying part of those pensions for themselves then I might support what they are doing.

Until then they need to stop breaking peoples work contracts and actually stealing from them. I know personally how it feels to have a politician steal from you. Gordon Brown stole from my private pension funds when he was chancellor and now this lot in government aren't going to be happy with the public servants pensions they are going to go after the private pensions again as well.

Mark my words. This lot are failing so badly at their economical policies things are really going to go pear shaped and its coming pretty soon now. August and maybe September and we are going to be up to our eyes in even more debt.

Job losses and people who actually do any work taking pay cuts to keep these fat cat politicians, bankers and big business execs in the extravagant lifestyle they are all accustomed to living. All of it off the sweat of our brows and the money they take from us all our working lives. Not happy with that they are now after the money we have saved and put away into our pensions.

We all have to get stand up and represent ourselves. None, not one, of this lot in the House of Commons or Lords represent us. Even though we pay them or they fiddle more than the Unions, Oil companies, arms companies or banks ever pay into their political parties funds.

These shysters and con artists are the real "muggers of the taxpayers" just as George Osbourne said. It is they who cost us and this country much more than it is ever going to be able to afford. Let these people who have ripped off the taxpayers all their lives share some of the cost for a change.

For just this once lets make them stand by "call me Dave's" words. We should all be in it together, including that shower and den of thieves. Sorry about the rant.

Just that I'm angry that these and all their predecessors over the last few decades have completely almost destroyed a great nation with their greed, avarice, lies and broken promises. No matter the party they all do it.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
