The Modern Republican Ideology is a wrecking ball. But look ... that's the platform that they campaign on. They SAY they hate Government ... (even as they spend MILLIONS to get elected) ... then they set about destroying the government ... Why do they do this?
Simple ... to hide the tracks of their malfeasance. The Modern Republican Ideology is a wrecking ball that obscures the fact that it's designed to destroy the Middle Classes .. and divert America's wealth to the wealthy elites and politically connected. Was anyone surprised that Tommy DeLay charged money to get access to the Government ... even facing prison ... he claims he did nothing wrong.
That's because ... Malfeasance ... Moral Vacancy ... it's so entrenched within Modern Republicanism ... it's become second nature. It's all they know. It's how they reconcile the cowardice of fighting for Health Insurance Companies denying Health Insurance to Middle Class Americans.
It's how they reconcile the cowardice of fighting for Welfare for the Wealthy Schemes that funnel BILLIONS to their Wealthy Supporters. Modern Republicanism is a scourge upon our nation. Thanks.
Just ask Michael Moore to donate all of his money to hire the 160 police officers back and pay the offset to Jerry Brown for his budgetary shortfall. Mr Moore believes, whole heartedly in the redistribution of wealth for the good of others. He and all that believe like him should allow their wealth to be redistributed 100% to fix the ills of the nation.
They have the money. George Sorros would be another one to petition for 100% redistribution of his wealth to the paying down of the dept and balancing of the budget.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
