No, the teabagging evangelicals (lol) were actually created by Faux News, Dick-appropriately-named Armey's FreedomWorks, and Ralph Reed's former right-wing partner Tim Phillips of Americans for Prosperity (Koch Family and National Petroleum Institute, plus insurance companies were their funders, as exposed on "The Rachel Maddow Show" on MSNBC) as a phony "grassroots" extension of the cult/pseudo-evangelically-controlled GOP to attempt to reel in some undecideds after first preying upon or stirring up fears and misplaced angers with a sweep of propaganda. The first so-called "members" were exposed as Republican staffers and some Beck followers (he sent them) who had scripts provided and/or endorsed by Newt Gingrich and the conservative Heritage Foundation/American Enterprise Institute and D.C.'s The Family (Sharlet, 2008) GOP extremists (i.e. , Inhofe) and other right-wing proponents to DISRUPT the town hall meetings of Democrats and BLOCK health care and insurance reforms.
They then tried to protest "taxes" to illustrate the tired old Republican attack slogan "tax and spend Liberals" and stir up negative public opinion, ignoring the fact that as of April 1st, 2009, President Obama's tax CUTS for 95% of working Americans making less than $250,000 went into effect...so that fizzled. The so-called "movement" is in disarray, not surprizing because it was never a real movement in the first place. Only around 600 people even bothered showing up at their so-called "convention.
Republicans are very very busy digging themselves deeper and deeper into a gigantic HOLE. Once the American people catch on to the deceit, and then REMEMBER the devastation caused by seven long years of their cult-evangelically-driven totalitarian abuses upon this country and its citizens that brought this great nation to the very BRINK of disaster, the GOP will lose ALL credibility and their "arm" (the teabaggers) will simply fall away like the dead tonsil it is.
Surprisingly enough about 30 to 35% are not Rep. I would not have felt that that many Democrats loved the country. It gives me great hope that we can get together for the overall good of the nation.
The Republicans fear the Tea party more then the Democrats!
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
