Just a few to add: I think that historically that may have been true, but not anymore. Most employers nowadays go to great lengths to protect themselves from legal action against them by their staff, even to the point of sending them on training courses in how to deal with people. The same applies to health and safety claims.
Remember also that only a tiny proportion of claims actually succeed. As for Andy Gray. I reckon his card was already marked.
Interesting point. However, as I sad to Hal, the problem for both female employees and male employers alike is not the actual actions of AG or Sky, but the ridiculous level of media coverage surrounding the incident. Male employers would get into an absolute quagmire of excrement if they were proven to be actively discriminating on the basis of sex; so I doubt such incidents will increase - but the whole media furore MAY well affect how women are employed and viewed in the sport of men's professional football.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
