Are there any free courses for learning Korean?

I found a few places to check out. An article on ehow ehow.com/way_5262280_learn-speak-korean.... The links at the bottom had great info too. Also this site seemed pretty neat.It was more for kids, but I think that would be a great place to start genkienglish.net/speakkorean.

Candiedinago, If you want to trade learning Korean for another skill you have, teachmate.org is useful http://teachmate.org/ Here are some free Korean Podcasts: I'm a fan of the KimchiGirls podcast kimchigirls.libsyn.com/ This site will email you ten vocabulary words per day learn10.com/languages.

It's not a full "course", but Mahalo does have a lot of helpful videos on how to say popular phrases in Korean. They are clean, simple and easy to follow. You can find the link to the YouTube playlist here: youtube.com/mahalodotcom#g/c/CFD5322C76E... Best of luck in your journey of learning!

Wikibooks has a great resource (see link below) for some of the basics of reading and writing - alphabet, grammar, and vocabulary. There's also livemocha.com - it's an online social network for learning languages. You can meet other people who are also learning or work with people at a higher level than you to get feedback. It's free to register.

Good luck!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
