Yes there is. You can download a program called boxee which is just a media center but it has a option to watch boxee on it. I have used this a lot in the past but it doesn't download the videos it just streams them.
Hulu has, just today, released their own desktop application. I am at work and cannot get to Hulu to give you a link, but I'm linking to a news story about it. It has support for both Windows and Mac (including their respective remote controls).
I will be trying it as soon as I can.
Actually it sounds like you have a dual monitor setting misconfigured for watching video. If you want to watch video in full screen on one monitor and work/play on another monitor you need to do this: Since your running Windows... 1) Go into your video settings 2) Click on Adjust Multiple Displays 3) Click on the option to bring video to this monitor only and select the monitor you want it on. If you are not looking to go this route and would rather have a seperate player for Hulu you can try the free DivX Web Player.
The download for the Windows version is on this page: labs.divx.com/node/5000 I hope this helps good luck!
Hulu Labs released cross platform desktop apps yesterday.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
