Are there any IM messenger clients that will allow me to send text messages to an iphone from the web?

My friend has an iphone. I want to be able to send text messages to her phone from a messenger client, such as MSN messenger (I haven't been able to figure out how to do it with messenger - so maybe it's not supported?). Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knows of an IM messenger client that I can install on my PC and send text messages to her iphone?

Use Yahoo! Messenger. Download and install Yahoo!

Messenger from here. After creating a Yahoo! Account you may login into your Yahoo Messenger.

Then under "Actions" select "Send an SMS Message". Choose "Other contacts" and send a text message. The person who receives the text message can respond by replying your text message and you will get an IM from him on your Y!M.

This only works for the US cell phones though. The only way that I know you can send text messages to non-US cell phones for free is via facebook. For that visit here..

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
