Are there any risks involved in installing a new OS update?

Apple has a full Quality Control department and review process. Blogs go craaaaaazy when firmware updates don't work properly and Apple looses money when the perception of their products decreases. However, I like to wait for at least a week before installing any update to any of my "home use" technology.

For servers and enterprise updates, I have an easy process to push out new updates manually (and quickly) when they are released to ensure that security isn't a concern. Still, at home - the last thing I want is for technology that is working perfectly fine not to function after an update. So, I wait.

I wouldn't wait until 4.1, but I would wait for a few days and keep an eye on the blogs while people try out the new firmware.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
