If you eat as close to nature as possible- fresh, whole foods, a mainly plant and wholegrain-based diet, with some fish &/or a little lean poultry if you eat that, plenty of pure water, herbal teas, lots of fresh veggies & fruit, there is no reason to be overweight. The problem is, there is very little healthy food within the miles of aisles in the grocery store. If it comes in some brightly colored package & looks nothing like something that grows in the ground, don't eat it.
If you have a Whole Foods or similar near you, shop there. If not, just go with the freshest food you can from your local supermarket. And now, with the nice weather coming, get outside & walk each day.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
