They are common in the rivers of eastern Australia from far north Queensland to Tasmania. I have them in the river at the bottom of my garden. They are, however, very shy and most people have never seen one.
To see one in the wild, you have to sit quietly by the river for some time. Anglers see them more often than other people because most of the time they are sitting quietly by the river.
There are quite a few in the creeks around where I live in south east Queensland but even so, it's unusual to see one. They're very shy and you have to wait very quietly with no reflection on the water to have any chance of a sighting.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
