Name one. Were the founders more honorable and extraordinary then the leaders of today or is that just a myth?( Elected Officials ) Asked by Ram-Bo 46 months ago Similar questions: extraordinary men public service Arts > Books.
Similar questions: extraordinary men public service.
They are all the same. All the leaders are the same now as they were when the country was founded. Some are in office for good reasons and some are in office for thier ego and personal gains.
The only diffrence is we think it is ok to dig into thier personal life and we have 24 hour media that have to fill up time. Sources: My opinion .
Ron Paul... ... I think the Founders really were men from all kinds of backgrounds and had all types of life experience and interests in serving themselves, but their foresight was really astonishing in drawing up the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence... "a more perfect union" (bad grammar. ) I think many stories about the Founding Fathers are myths - like George Washington never told a lie. Most of the men owned slaves.
Jefferson even fathered an illegitimate child with one of his slaves. So these men were definitely not perfect, honest, or even honorable to the degree they weren't corrupt in some ways. I am certain that happened with more of those men.
HBO has a series coming out about John Adams starring Laura Linney as Abigail Adams and Paul Giamatti as John Adams. It is based upon the Pulitzer Prize Winning book. I am looking forward to seeing it, and maybe I'll pick up a copy of the book to read, too.
Ron Paul has very strong morals and hasn't been bought off like his peers in Washington. He has my vote, even if I have to write in his name in November. Sources: My opinion.

For example, I would include teachers as being in public service - after all, they are serving the public and most of us are highly underpaid!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
