Every December for 80 years, the dining room of the Ahwahnee Hotel at Yosemite National Park has been transformed into an 18th-century English manor for a lavish Christmas pageant and dinner based on author Washington Irving's story “The Sketch Book.” So far, three of the eight dinners from mid-December through Christmas are sold out, and four are selling very quickly, according to Sydney Reily, PR coordinator for DNC Parks & Resorts, which manages the event.

But, she says, “We have one performance, on the 18th, that – due to its location in the middle of the week prior to Christmas – has a lot of availability. I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
