Are these parts good for a custom built gaming computer?

Future-proofing only applies if you have a Core i3, i5 or i7 Intel cpu or a Phenom or Athlon II cpu. To future proof it the cpu needs to have new technology like quad or hexa core but right now games don't use that many cores. Get a cpu thats 3 Ghz or higher and a DX11 video card like the Radoen 5000 series or the GeForce 400 series.

The higher end GeForce 400 series has some Fermi thing which is a new technology so basically its good for future-proofing. You don't need 1000 dollars to future-proof your pc. Get a Radeon 5750 or higher or a GeForce 460 or higher.

Don't Crossfire or SLI. IT's not worth it. Get a mobo for DDR3 RAM and get either a quad-core i5 or six core i7.

But AMD's Phenom II X4 and X6 are better deals.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
