Are virtual gifts a good way to monetize a social network, or should virtual goods be free? How much would you be willing to pay for them?

Virtual goods are handled differently in various sites. I feel that in most cases they should be free, but having a selection of pay goods makes them special. If the goods are purely cosmetic the most I would pay is $2.50.

If virtual goods add functionality to a game or network I would pay up to $10, depending on the attraction of the extra feature. Some examples: I have invested in collectable outfits & special pets on free MMOs.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
