Honesty is the best policy but buttering your own husband is also good. :).
I believe we are only "brutally honest" with people we don't care about. Those that we love we tend to find a way to be "tactfully honest". It is possible to use an "edit button" and still get your point across.
Venting angrily or complaining rudely is usually done to make the "complainer" feel better.
What you are doing with your husband falls under what Dale Carnegie called, "How to Win Friends and Influence People" :-).

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
