Are you looking forward to the new Ridley Scott movie Robin Hood?

There's certainly a lot of Hype which means the sheep will rush to see it. However I do despair at Hollywood's interpretation of our English history. I know Robin Hood is not exactly a true historical character so a certain amount of artistic licence is expected but in the clip I saw this morning has Robin introducing Maid Marion tot Little John and Will Scarlet as his wife!

I just hope it is better than Prince of Thieves, that has him landing under the White Cliffs of Dover and announcing they will be home in time for dinner. Plus once he gets there we find him taking a shower under a huge waterfall in Nottingham forest. Yeah Right!

I doubt we will see anything new or original but who knows.... I’ll wait for the DVD I think.

It will be interesting to see if there is a 'new aspect' to the character or characters I should say. Much has been written and also done on the screen with Robin Hood so I see it as a challenge. At the same time, when I think back on the Batman film work, I have to say that I was impressed with all that was added to the substance of the character.

I think there is much to work with in the Robin Hood scenario as well.

I have already seen it, and it is not the Robin Hood of old. It's Gladiator set in England, lots of action fights. But not very true to the original story.

I liked the movie Gladiator . Its the same team back again. Hope to see a movie which will entertain us this year and many more years to come.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
