Aren't atheists expectations set to high to see God when even believers can't look at the sun with the naked..?

This is classic theist reasoning. I give you credit for consistency.

People can't look at the sun because it will greatly damage their eyes.

I don't need to see god, just some unambiguous proof of him. A real violation of natural law for a clear design.

Hope for him he didn't create you, 'caus that would be a fine argument to be an atheist :P.

The bible has never been, is not, nor will it ever be proof of anything. When you can find real evidence, come back to me.

Well, that just proves my point...either he's imaginary, or he's just an old gas bag.

I agree, I found faith in the fact the christian ideals are so entrenched in our culture, like counting years after jesus' death, 7 days to a week, churches everywhere and the shear fact that the world is so intricate and everything works so well together (most of the time) that it couldn't have posibly come from nothing.

By that argument we shouldn't be able to see anything as according to your position everything is and can only be one of your gods creations. And another thing, we have plenty of evidence for the sun. We have zero evidence for anything supernatural.

Jesus... you people make normal believers look crazy. You need to stop preaching on yahoo answers. God would be pretty pissed if he read this... Lol.

That explains why I can't look at the ocean with my naked eye since it is one of god's creations.

The pope wears the fish head of the Pagan God Dagon.St. Peters Square has an Egyptian Obelisk sitting right in the middle of it. Christianity celebrates Solstices and Equinoxes (Pagan origin) under the guise of Jesus Christ and no one even questions it.

During the Winter Solstice, the sun sits at the horizon for three days, before it is raised (from the dead) back into the sky on the 25th of December (Christmas). Instead it is claimed that these ancient practices were stolen by Pagans, who were around waaay before Jesus. Please, the seasons have been here since Earth herself...and that is the truth.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
