Why are atheists insulting to believers, while believers pray for them?

Agreed When asked to describe my thoughts on GOD and Religion my train of thought led me right to gravity. . .

You can’t see gravity, You can’t taste it, I just know one thing for certain, that it exists. The mystery's of faith an GOD are beyond human comprehension Faith concerns questions which cannot be settled by evidence. I feel bad that if someone does not have faith they would want others to agree with them!

How can the universe create itself out of nothingness? Given the fact that the universe began to exist, it must have had a “cause” that originated it. Doesn't it make more sense to assume the existence of a Creation.

The question is tricky because it sneaks in the false assumption that GOD came from somewhere and then asks where that might be. The answer is that the question does not even make sense. It is like asking, “What does blue smell like?”

Blue is not in the category of things that have a smell, so the question itself is flawed. In the same way, GOD is not in the category of things that are created or caused. GOD is uncaused and uncreated—He simply exists.

We know that from nothing, nothing comes. So, if there were ever a time when there was absolutely nothing in existence, then nothing would have ever come into existence. But things do exist.

Therefore, since there could never have been absolutely nothing, something had to have always been in existence. That ever-existing being is what we call GOD ,GOD is the un-caused Being that caused everything else to come into existence. God is the uncreated Creator who created the universe and everything in it.

The universe requires a cause because it had a beginning, GOD unlike the universe, had no beginning, so he doesn’t need a cause. Einstein’s theory of general relativity, which has much experimental support, shows that time is linked to matter and space. So time itself would have begun along with matter and space.

Since GOD is the creator of the whole universe, he is the creator of time. Therefore He is not limited by the time dimension He created.. Life without GOD is like an un- sharpened pencil it has no point.. You can't see the wind, but you know it is there because you can see what the wind is doing. You can know that the wind is there because you can feel it.

GOD is like the wind, you can't see him.

Why do you insist in coming in here, - To keep you busy here so you will stay out of my class rooms. This place is called Religion and Spirituality not atheism. - Some one has to inject a level of intelligence here, you surely can't.

Yet you come in here ranting how faithful people are delusional dolts. - The Dover trial is a good example of why I am here. Secretly deep down you are very interested in religion, - We use the functional brain cells we have, we are interested in everything, which is why all of the surveys show that atheists know more about religion and the bible than most fundies.

Uh Pierrre my sweet I am a believer and am interested in religion and spirituality so that is why I am here. - then read what the atheists have to say and discover the intelligent aspect to religion. If there were an atheist section you would not see me in there, - You would if atheists kept trying to force their way into your church and force you to think rather than to believe.

We want marriage to stay as one man and one woman only. - Yes, which is intollerance. Of course we want all people to have the same rights - Except the people you do not like which is what the previous statement says.

Just remember you wanted that right to marry. - then let them deal with their problems themselves, with out you sticking your nose into their lives and bed rooms. But we too can express opinions about things we disagree with, that is freedom of speech.

Gays can say they think heterosexual sex is nasty, unnatural, foreign to them and heterosexuals will not care, why do gays care? - Because you keep trying to limit or remove the same rights you demand.

I could care less what others think of what I choose or not choose to do sexually, - You would ABSOLUTELY CARE if some one tried to force you into their way of life or remove your rights to do what you want. But I also do not make it a habit to tell people what I do sexually, - Maybe not youi personally, but youi do collectively. And if you can remove their basic human rights you will come after us next.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
