Aren’t both Republicans and Democrats responsible for this government shutdown?

Yes thy don't care about america all thy care about is their buddies.

If a government shutdown prevents further wasteful spending, shows the government workers what it's like to be unemployed, and proves that the democrats aren't willing to create a budget and prevent a mounting national debt, then yes - by all means, shut it down. It's about time the American people see that Obama and most democrats aren't willing to save our country from a prolonged recession (depression) and monetary meltdown. I handle my household budget much better than the government can so why is the federal government so bloated?

We should shut them down and kick them while they're down because they need to know that we the people don't like what they are doing and government needs to understand that we the people are still in charge. The republicans that we have put in there realize this and are in touch with reality.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
