Impending government shutdown: Blame Obama or Republicans?

All Depends on what programs are refused to be cut..there are many things that will come out in the Wash..

Congress has decided to stay on at full pay for themselves, and "furlough" up to 750,000 wage-grade and general-scale personnel. All that will do is so severely anger America against the Democrats that we can expect another Republican Rout as we saw with Reagan in 1980.

At least that way we can begin cleaning up the horrifying mess that Obalmy and his co-conspirators created because of their shocking disloyalty against America.

Now, to straighten out this mess, Congress must do the unthinkable: they must cooperate as Americans. The Republicans have always been loyal Americans and have kept treaties with Israel and Mexico to the letter. The problem is with the Democrats, who are party people exclusively and could never care less for anything but their selfish interests.

Democrat stonewalling has cost America terribly and this financial hiccup is purely the Democrats' fault.

To solve the problem, the Democrats will have to man up to their mistakes and show some willingness to develop American loyalty. It will be the very first time but it will be the time when Democrats proved that they can also become Americans. That may be the worst insult since a Muslim suicide bomber becoming a Christian, but these positive and encouraging things still do happen.

We tried it the Democrats way and it was a disgusting failure all the way through. Let's try being mature and loyal for a change. You know, like Republicans!

Reid and Pelosi had 13 months to draft a 2012 budget. Boehner and his guys have been on the job about three months so on pure logistics ill blame the democrats.. but wait hold the phone. The difference in what is being held over is appallingly small and if Boehner is hoping to appease a tea party backed constituency over such a small difference in cost to citizen output someone should tell him that boat already sailed when they settled for 61 mil in saving instead of the 100 promised.

The Democrats, they had the opportunity to help the U.S. but they couldn`t even pass a budget when they had control of Congress and the Senate and a Democratic President last year. All they know is spend, spend, spend. Well, we are spent out my friends.

What ever bad things that happens to this country will be 100% Obamys fault!...Without question!...And the sooner he is out of Office the better chances the USA has of maintaining it's world leadership. Otherwise we better learn to speak Islamic and Chinese!....

The 111th Congress of the United States had more than a year to settle on a budget. Why should either the President, or the current Congress, be held responsible for this foot dragging?

Mr. Obama and the Demoncats are responsible for the mess this country is in over the past 2 years.

It is time Mr. Obama had his squeeky clean self besmerched with the excrement he has spread.

The Demoncats have fumbled badly and it will be a helluva long time before they are given the ball to run with again.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
