Arginine and blood pressure?

L-Arginine is a precursor of nitric oxide, which is a vasodilator. It can be purchased as a dietary supplement and is commonly used by body builders for, among other properties, its ability to increase blood flow. There are also those out there who recommend its use as a natural method for the control of blood pressure.

Have any of you out there successfully used Arginine for the control of blood pressure? What kind of dosage is required for measurable positive effects in one's blood pressure? Are there any co-factors that must also be present?

Any side effects that one should be aware of? Any bad interactions with prescription blood pressure medications? Inquiring minds want to know!

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
