Skips all that No,it is simply a scientific theory backed up by evidence and observations. It does not intentionally kick creationism's butt.
Creation as described in the bible is ancient men's perceptions of how the world was created. Men who were simple, superstitious and biased. They had little in the way of science.
The bible is not factual but figurative in nature. Like any good story book the stories over time have been embellished. If you take creations and spread it out over an extremely long time period and understand that those who wrote about it were naive it could actually coincide with evolution but not if you take the bible literally.
Man wrote that a god took six days to create the earth. How long is a "day" to a god? If the entity was truly a god, why would it need to rest on the seventh day?
If this god made us in it's image, what does a god look like? Why would a god have a gender. Men writing stories that can inform and guide.
It was not a god dictating nor penning these books.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
