Why do theists think that "disproving" arguments for evolution makes creationism correct?

There are only two prevailing theories as to the origins of life: either we evolved from nothing, or we were created. What other possibilities are there? Well, some might say were were seeded by aliens.

That would be another form of evolution. Some might say we're all a part of someone's dream. Well, even those people look both ways when crossing the street.

Before evolution became a popular theory, creation was what the majority thought. Those two theories are the only credible explanations as to why we are here. You disprove one, you prove the other.

All other theories are in the category of nonsense. Look both ways before crossing the street.

Yea, I get what you mean. It's the same as people who go with the Pascal's Wager nonsense. It's not, nor has it ever been, a 'this-or-that' issue.

There might be a God, there might not be a God, and there might be an infinite number of other possibilities somewhere inbetween.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
