I am addicted! I need medication, counseling or therapy. I forget my dishes, put laundry in the wrong drawers, go out for the snail mail and run back in to finish an answer, put my kids down for a nap and race back on...telling myself only one more Lisa!

My name is Doglover, and I have only been on Askville for about a week. I have become addicted so quickly though, that is seems like longer. I am really just learning what I am doing so bear with me!

I have met several really nice people and love making new friends. There are so many kind and caring people on Askville. However, I hope the novelty wears off just a little, so I won't keep staying up until 2 or 3AM!.

Ummm let me see here. I guess I'm actully going to write down all about me, because in truth, I'm not afraid of this sort of thing on the internet. Hmmm.

First thing about me is something my mom once said about me. I have never met a stranger before. I can be quiet and shy, but once you get to know me I can literally talk for hours about anything and everything.(if you wanna know what my friends refer to me as, wikipedia "brass dragon" or halfling, hobbit, Mr.Underhill) that about sums up the man behind the cool makeup.

My hobbies are frisbee golf, dungeons and dragons, other D20 system games, and dungeons and dragons the miniatures game. Video games. Music, whether playing it, listening to it or writing song lyrics.

I used to be frontman and vocalist of the metal band "Skyndryft" I was also bassist for Sourbone. And my favorite side band I had was called Sarafan Machine. Poetry, short stories, and the sort is a huge thing for me.

Hmmm. I love animals. Especially Jack Russell Terriers.

I am getting kittens soon though. The pets I do have scare people though. I had a black emperor scorpion, and my baby.

(Im not joking either) is my pet snake. Well..scary snake. She's a 4 and a half foot long rattler whose name is Rosco.

She has two eggs in her tank. I caught her when she was maybe 8 inches long and shes ENTIRELY TAME. She does not strike.

She doesn't show aggression or anything. She rattles ALOT though. I hold her alot.

Hmmm I'm single. The women around here aren't very good for dating material. Doesn't stop me from going out with some lady friends though.

Kind of a hopeless romantic too...so this has been kind of a drag. LOL. Well I could go on and on, but basicly...Im a gamer geek who loves to talk, loves to be there for anyone for any reason.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
