Should fetuses be counted in by the U.S. Census Bureau?

To answer the first part of the question - I think it's ridiculous for fetuses to be counted as citizens. So many infants die at birth, are stillborn, etc. Considering that the number would be inaccurate, it would defeat the entire purpose of the census.Do I have a problem with the Census allowing all people to self-identify their relationship status? No.

I don't.My husband and I are able to define our relationship status. Why shouldn't ever person in The United States be allowed to do so? Some couples consider themselves married even though legally they are not - they still fall under a mindset of common law marriage even though in most places that law no longer exists.

And so, a heterosexual couple who has lived together for twenty years may very well mark "married" on their census form. No one will bother them to show a marriage license. And so, for conservatives to be worried that this will give ammunition to the gay rights activists and inflate numbers inaccurately - they need to worry about EVERY couple who is not legally married but marking the option anyhow.

Oh wait, that would mean equality, wouldn't it? Never mind, conservatives don't believe in that either.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
