ASP.Net DropDownList selected value?

My off the cuff guess is you are maybe re-populating the list on a post back and that is causing the selected index to get reset.

Are you checking! IsPostBack before the call? For example.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
